Where to find the name brand, model number, and serial number

The model number and serial number for an appliance are usually printed on a sticker or plate and can be found in a variety of locations, depending on the appliance:

Prior to arriving at your home, our proodee™ appliance repair technicians need to do a little research and download some technical information about your specific appliance. We value your time and wish to do this beforehand rather than wait until we get to your home. Therefore, it is important that you provide us with your name brand and model number either by typing it in or simply taking a photo of the sticker or name plate.

  • Refrigerator: Inside the door or in the upper right or left front corner
  • Dishwasher: On a sticker on the inside edge, top, or side of the door
  • Washing machine: Behind the door or on the door frame
  • Tumble dryer: Inside the door on the casing or on the side
  • Oven: Inside the door on the main body or hidden in the door seal
  • Range or stove: On the right side of the burner box, beneath a surface burner, beneath the fuse cover, or behind the door in the upper or lower left corner
  • Vent hood: Behind a grease filter on the underside of the hood

If you can’t find the name brand, model number, and serial number of your appliance, you can check the manual or user guide if you have it. Alternatively, you can go ahead and finish the booking form, and we will call you to help locate the information.
